'Tate schools workshops are devised and framed by artists with established practices, who value the opportunity to test out their thinking in relation to the artworks on display, in dialogue with young people.'
I worked with Tate galleries (Britain/Modern) between autumn 2012 and summer 2013 on the schools workshops and learning programme with young people between the ages of 4 and 19.
Each workshop will took place in and outside of the gallery spaces, involving activities that included looking at and investigating artworks, questioning and formulating responses. Each of the 10 artists (myself included) brought a particular approach to looking at art and the content of each of our workshops according to our concepts and ideas.
